YU Ping, Female, Han nationality, born on April 28^th, 1966 in Changchun City, Jilin Province, gains her doctoral degree of history and is a member of Association Promoting Democracy of China. She is currently holding the office of the Associate Dean of Graduate School, Associate Dean of College of Humanities, professor and Ph.D. supervisor of School of International Chinese Language Education in Jilin University. She simultaneously is a committee member of Association Promoting Democracy and associate director of Changchun Association Promoting Committee, chairperson of Association Promoting Committee of Jilin University, member of the 10^th and 11^th Changchun Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and member of 12^th Changchun Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

Her major research area is history of Chinese ancient culture and International Education of Chinese.

She has more than 20 essays published in the journal of Social Science Front, Nankai Journal, Journal of Jilin University, etc., including “ The Cultural Communication and Transmission between Confucian scholars and Han Dynasty of China” published in Journal of Jilin University, Volume 5 in the year of 2011, which was reprinted in full text by Xinhua Digest.

She has also undertaken and accomplished more than 10 programs in Projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China, Project of Humanities and Social Sciences of Ministry of Education of China, Social Science Foundation of Jilin Province, Promoting Internationalization of Chinese Language of Confucius Institute Headquarters, Language Commission of Jilin Province, and Special Program of Jilin University. She was awarded for the 4^th and 5^th First Prize of Outstanding Achievement of Social Science of Changchun, Second Prize of Outstanding Achievement of Social Science Foundation of Jilin Province and First Prize of Outstanding Achievement of Social Science of Jilin Province. She was also honored as Advanced Individual in the 3^rd election and assessment of Teacher’s Virtue in Jilin Province.
