Ms. ZONG Yuan graduated from College of Humanities of Jilin University in 2003 with her BA in Literature, then started to work on her MA in Comparative Literature and World Literature at Jilin University. In 2005, she became a Ph.D. candidate in the same area. She worked as a Chinese language teacher at the Chinese School of Michigan State University of U.S. from 2005 to 2006. In 2009, Ms. Zong obtained her doctoral degree and started her career at the School of International Chinese Language Education of Jilin University from July of 2009. She teaches Chinese Language courses to the international students of JLU.

The courses Ms. Zong teaches include Intensive Reading, Listening, Spoken Chinese, Chinese culture etc., her students include undergraduates, non-degree Chinese language students, and students from Japan, South Korea, USA, Israel, etc. under short term Chinese language programs.
